Our Expertise
Since 1986, still under the company name Maas High Tech Software GmbH, we gained reputation as a supplier of base technologies in the field of the mainframe. In the beginning of 1990s, as a result of many large migration projects, we developed our own migration tools and high-end computer frameworks.
OXSEED makes these tools available to the developers of the customer and thus ensures the transfer of know-how and technology with the following goals in mind: To shield Cobol development from the complexity of the complete system, to alleviate routine tasks, and to help set the focus on the business issues.
Since mid-year 1990, large customers, such as Deutsche Bank, VHV Versicherung, and Stuttgarter Versicherung place their trust in our company. At about the same time, we started the development of platform-independent interfaces for mainframe applications.
XML mainframe connectivity
Based on our competence and the trust placed in our company, since the end of the 1990s, Maas has taken over Internet integration tasks for Deutsche Bank, Stuttgarter Versicherung, Hallesche Nationale, and VHV Hannover. The XML-based development of interfaces at OXSEED has lead to establishment and continuous development of our integration product XML4cobol - from the Standard Edition, then to Enterprise Edition, and finally to the XML-based Web Services infrastructure on the mainframe.
